A monograph on resupinate and stereoid Hymenomycetes, a revision of Hymenochaete Lév. (Hymenochaetaceae) (Job, ) and a series of papers dealing with Stereum Pers., Lopharia Kalchbr. & MacOwan, Cymatoderma Jungh. and the Thelephoraceae (Gorter, ). A. auriculiformis has associations with both ecto- and endo-mycorrhizal fungi. The ecto-mycorrhizal fungus, Thelephora spp., forms a beneficial association, and several species of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizas, including Glomus etunicatum and Gigaspora margarita, are effective (Dart et al., ; de la Cruz and Umali-Garcia, ).

Abstract. Thelephora terres tris is the best-known species of the basidiomycete genus Thelephora, and is a very common ectomycorrhizal symbiont in conifer tree nurseries over all has a somewhat dubious reputation, however, being considered to be a weak parasite in some instances.

Researchers involved in ectomycorrhizal inoculation programmes undoubtedly have cursed this. Thelephora aurantiotincta Corner, Beihefte zur Nova Hedwigia 44 () [MB#].
